Who We Are

AMA (Love Manifested in Action, from the Spanish: Amor Manifestado en Acciones) was born from empathy, compassion, and the urgent need to act in the face of a painful reality: thousands of animals live each day in abandonment, cruelty, hunger, and indifference.

AMA

We are a project formed by ordinary people with an extraordinary commitment: build a more just and dignified world for stray, mistreated, or vulnerable animals. We’re not heroes or experts; we’re just human beings who one day decided not to look away.

For years, we carried out this work in silence: rescuing, healing, feeding, and seeking help on our own. But the need eventually outgrew what we could handle alone. After reaching out to other organizations and discovering that many were already overwhelmed, we realized we had to take the next step. We couldn’t wait for someone else to do something. AMA had to be born.

AMA

AMA is not just a project. AMA is a declaration of principles. It means believing that every living being has the right to live with dignity. It means acting with empathy. It means building sustainable solutions with responsibility and long-term vision. It means putting our hearts in service of those most forgotten.

We are purposeful action. Every step we take is guided by a realistic and transformative plan. From rescue efforts to sterilization campaigns, social education, and the search for permanent homes, everything we do follows a structured strategy centered on the overall well-being of animals.

AMA

We are a growing network. We know we can’t do this alone. That’s why we work to bring more hands, hearts, and voices into the movement. AMA invites everyone —regardless of age, experience, or resources— to be part of the change. Because every action, no matter how small, transforms lives.

AMA is hope, and it needs you to move forward. Every gesture, every contribution, every word of encouragement matters. This is not just our project, it’s yours too. Because changing the reality of thousands of animals is not a utopia, it’s an urgent, achievable, and deeply human cause. AMA is a call: to feel, to act, to change. Together, we can make it happen.
